They both would try to go so hard on that track. I doubt he on the album unless Universal stepped in and paid Hov big bucks. Remember wayne album is set to release 12/18 and he aint really got a single buzzing yet. That would be a good look to be on Hov album. Niggas might see it as a passing of the torch lol.

I donno but Jay stays relevant so why not have Weezy. Gotta admit I tried my best not to like him but Weezy makes me laugh and all the concert videos i’ve seen of him are sick. Jay knows he will push crazy units by letting people know this beef is dead. Rap is becoming the WWE but I don’t care as long as Jay releases an album every 4th quarter!!

Jay-Z American Gangster -

Dont get me wrong…i think wayne is garbage..and i agree there is no place for him on J’s “could be classic”…but as for marketing…could be a hella move by J ; )

What The Fuck Wayne is on there. I think the song would be hot. But I think that he sould not be on the album. Wanye sould be on one of Jigga mixtape’s. Because by Wanye on the album that is going to start some shit by people who get the album and DJ’s and the whole Hip-Hop game. By people sayin Wanye is hotter then Jigga or Jigga is hotter then Wayne. I go with Jigga all the way by sayin Jigga is more of a MC then Wayne but other people might not think the some thing…… And the shit with Nas is goin to be some
Hip-Hop History shit. That shit will be hot with Nas. And the shit with Beanie Sigel is goin to be hot.

I love the over aggressive internet tough talk that ends with the suggestion of reading a book lol. Anyway the statement was made because Universal Music Group, you know the parent company for Def Jam well they are the parent company for Cash Money also. Nobody said wayne paid Hov to be on the album. But maybe you were busy reading a book and didnt see my post that good.

Its called good business strategy. But im just a kid in his early 20’s so what do I know about business lol. And wtf does dissing have to do with anything now adays. Juelz is on Def Jam and he diss Hov.

Cosign with Juicy…Hov is thinking strategically…He’s only strengthening the sales of his album and the timeframe of “who is hot right now”, by putting Weezy on his album…Similar to what Ye did when he put T Pain/Weezy on his album…It’s like a time capsule for the future…Smart move indeed…

Lil Wayne conciders himself a student of Jay-Zs whole style n everything he’s said it before. I’m sure Jay as a mentor is just reaching out to a younger cat who he thinks is tearing it up. Its a good look

From reading all the comments all I can say is:

FUCK EVERYBODY FROM NEWYORK!! U FAGGOT ASS BITCHES! YALL SAY HIP HOP IS DEAD BUT U WONT BUY JAY-Z ALBUM CUZ HE HAS WAYNE FEATURED ON IT??

New York doesn’t know real hip hop, all they know is beef and hate. That’s why yall couldnt get your shit together n soulja is tappin that ass

Support real hip hop - Jay -Z.

I AM HIP HOP

i agree wit sum of what ya’ll are saying about wayne being on the album but i cant believe ya’ll would believe this.

remember when graduation was about a month away from dropping there was fake track listings and fake album covers. dont believe this since when do people release the tracklistings. this is like switching cars 4 or 5 times cuz the feds is watching you, u got throw the internet feens in another direction real quick.
if u a real hov fan and u been listening closely since reasonable doubt u know theres no way lil wayne is on this album. i’m dissapointed in sum of ya’ll for believing the hype

AND SO WHAT JUELZ WAS ON DEF JAM BEFORE HAY BECAME PRES. HE DOESN’T “OWN” DEF JAM. AND WHATS UR POINT ARE THEY ON EACH OTHERS ALBUMS….. NO,DIDN’T THINK SO. READ LIL NIGGA.

the track will be fire. Wayne along with guys like Lupe, Saigon, Pap, Ortiz, CrookedI, Chamillionaire are some of the young cats that we should be wishing well because they focusing on the lyrcism part of rap. So stop hating on these nyggas just because the older dudes are losing passion for this shyt.

Opinion’s are like assholes, everybody has one. So if you dont agree with mines it don’t mean shit lol.

Hov told me a lot through his albums over the years and a couple things I never forget I will put below with my own twist.

1.”don’t argue with fools, cause people in blogs cant tell who is who”
2. “Little internet thugs, yall all need hugs”
3. “Oh you not feelin me fine, it cost you nothin pay me no mind”

American Gangster, Hovember 6th!

64.
The Realist wrote on October 16th, 2007 at 12:52 pm

I’m willing to guanrantee Lil Wayne is not rapping on this album. He may be on the hook, which was probably sampled, but he is not rapping on this album. Beans is on the album because Hov has always had mad respect for Beans’ style and to help push Beans’ cd in December. Plus, he’s on a remix, so who cares? Nas is on the album because he liked “Success” so much that he requested to be on the song, and he’s a legend. What are you going to do, say no? Lil Wayne is not rapping on the album! Since the Blueprint, name one rapper who has made an album actually rapping. I’ll help you. Emenim, that’s it. (Not counting Blueprint 2 and Best of Both Worlds, both compilation albums)

Just watch and see…
