Should Lebron James’s Relationship With Jay-Z Worry The Cavs?

LeBron James

FULL STORY

Interesting read on Yahoo sports about LBJ and Jay-Z’s relationship.  Would LeBron leave Cleveland and join the Brooklyn Nets? I wouldn’t be surprised.

New York needs something to look forward to in basketball lol. Naw but a player of his caliber should be on a larger stage like New York. Similar to A-Rod. Imagine Lakers Nets final with LeBron playing for Brooklyn and Kobe for LA. David Stern would go down as the best commish in all sports history. Its the media capital of the world. Endorsements would rise for him (if thats possible).

On a side note I got the Lakers playin the Cavs in this years finals. So imagine a rematch with LA vs. Brooklyn, shit Pac might even show up court side between Denzel and Jack.

lol @ pounce’s prediction! It’s not impossible though…

Imagin ethe west match- ups if the playoffs started today

1-8 Lakers - Golden State: battle for Ca., and can they take down another 1 seed?

2-7 S.A. - Houston: battle for texas… too bad Yao wouldn’t be playin Him vs. Duncan!

3-6 Dallas - Pheonix Nash’s old squad vs. his “best friend ” and a new one (Shaq was on team that beat Dallas in finals)

4-5 N.O. - Utah The battel of draft picks …Paul vs. Williams again!!!

CRAZY!

I been telling people this forever. Lebron wants to rep NY. He already does. Wearing Yankees hats, being present at every big Jay-Z show in NYC, and always @ 40/40. He and Jay are extremely tight.

The Cavs are good right now but take away Lebron and they aren’t any better then the Nets. Lebron wants to win and play in a big market. FUCK OHIO. People still bang their sisters in Ohio. That shit is wack.

Breaking News King James will play for The Brooklyn Nets.

WE RUN THIS

LOL @ #6… but REAL TALK…. come on yall… y did it take yall so long to bring up and break down this topic? the first day i SAW this nigga wit Jay .. i already knew… man… this is gon’ decide it… does he want to stay in cleveland.. possibly build a team eventually… still get paid like a muthafucka.. in the O where he is from…

or run wit Hov… who u kno has a lot to say about his financial activities…. become the king of New York (cause thaz wat he’ll be)…. possibly start a dynasty 4 a new team (or in a new area).. and make probably DOUBLE the money throught endorsements and wateva the Nets drop on his ass…. not to mention i’m SURE Jay gon’ include him on sum of his business opportunities…..

i don’t know.. if i was him… i’d dip…. Cleveland aint goin no where on none of these West teams… the Nets is a new start… and very early in his career…

FOR THE RECORD: L.A. Lakers 3 peat champions… WATCH AND SEE

#1, eff the Lakers.

#2: “People still bang their sisters in Ohio. That shit is wack.” - I visited Columbus, and it’s a tight ass city. Maybe in them farm towns they act back woods, but Ohio has 4 or 5 big ass cities: Cinncinatti, Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton. It’s not a bad market. But true, it is NO comparison to the Big Apple.

Our Writer Juan Perez examined the issue with Lebron. Personally I think Lebron will be in Cleveland for a long time. I could be wrong though.

Hes going to leave cleveland to end up playing for a larger market (NYC). they been talking about this since jay brought a percentage of the nets and when they started to hangout. But if i was lebron, ill wait and see what happens to the nets in the future after the arena is built in downtown BK. because you dont want to commit yourself to a rebuilding franchise or play for a last place team in your prime.

Yo…this Jay-Z sports agent thing is pure HOGWASH. We all knoq what happened to his last client who held out from camp this year…who is that dude…Running back Larry Johnson from Kansas City Chiefs who roomated with the camel and basically gave him the wrong advice because the NFL is not rap! Your flaws will be exposed and we knew the real reason LJ got some burn becasue it was all pro left tackle William Roaf a pro-bowl hall of fame offensive lineman. He retired in 2006 so as a result LJ’s stats went down and some flaws were exposed and then an injury. So, don’t fall for this Jay-Z Jerry Mcguire bullshit. He cant do everything like he claims he’s doing. Stay in your lane cuz outside of that youre report card is sub-par. A businessman he is not. A sports agent???? GET FUCKING REAL!!!

Fuck brooklyn..GO KNICKS!!!! no more fake basketball teams from Jersey moving into the city. Choose another name or something.

25.
Thugminican wrote on February 27th, 2008 at 8:44 pm

you boy LJ Mr Rocawear ran behind left tackle willie roaf. He cleared alot of room for LJ bitch ass. Once the offensive lineman retired what happened to LJ..

“Brrrrr what happened to that boy” The Clipse

number 4 County Of Kings, you don’t know waht your talking about! he can cause he’ll be able to leave the cavs b/c his contract will be up and can chose to go to whatever team he wants.. he’s a yankees fan, so this wouldn’t surprise me

Cavs Fan 4 life wrote on March 10th, 2008 at 4:55 pm

When Lebron’s contract is up the Cavaliers will be able to sign LBJ to the most money. Remember the Bird rights? Cleveland can offer Lebron something in the neighborhood of 6yrs/$150m.. Think He’s going to turn that down for a Nets FA contract of 6yrs./$75m? Unless Jay Z plans on paying him out of his pocket I don’t see it. Lebron IS an walking endorsement! He doesn’t need a big market, heck you all have heard of him right? lol. What can NY do for Lebron that Lebron isn’t doing for himself??? He already has Nike rapped around his finger along with Sprite and State Farm also. Lebron’s net work IS going to surpass Jay Z’s so think before you speak.

As for those who keep talking about “F” Ohio remember this, Lebron IS from Ohio. I don’t care who you are, playing in front of your friends and family is WAAAY more important then going to a franchise who won’t be able to PUT the pieces along side Lebron to play with Because they have Carter and Jefferson. In the mean while….

Once Lebron’s contract is up in Cleveland. Everyone else will be coming off the books too! Big Ben Wallace and Illgauskas enormous contracts expire that same year too. Not to mention that Wally’s contract will expire the year before allowing Cleveland to trade for a primetime player with a big contract. You know there will be teams looking to start over by trading for expiring contracts. Cleveland is in great shape!

So screw the Nets!….
