It’s not anything new and its not going away anytime soon. we had race riots when i was in high school and that was back in 96. everyone (until a certain age) is in a gang out here. if you’re hispanic then you run with the hispanics and if you’re black then you run with the blacks. same goes with asians, middle easterns and whites.
