The video was weird due to the random clips thrown in it, it’s 12 minutes long and should be three. 50 does address some things in the video. He says he doesn’t want to go through pushing his album back, he mentoned how many times Lil Wayne’s album was pushed back to build up anticipation. He comments on radio spins not matching album sales, and expecting T.O.S. to do better.

Lil Wayne comes in #1 last week with 156k sold while G-Unit debuts with 102k sold to be 4th on the charts. I know less than 200k is not what people were expecting and some people are trying to blame Interscope for this. Did Young Buck’s departure play a role in the low sales? Also will the sales of this G-Unit album mean 50’s solo projects won’t be selling as much?

Paul Catsandonis, lawyer for 50 Cent ex Shaniqua Tompkins, has disclosed that his client is suing the rapper for $50 million dollars in damages resulting from a fire than destroyed the home she was living in. In the fallout, Tompkins accused 50 of setting the fire himself to avoid having to honor an agreement made between them. She has since filed a restraining order.

50 Cent thinks we could see another MC sell a million copies in the first week before 2008 is over: him! He plans on dropping his next solo LP, Before I Self-Destruct, within the next few months.

“I want to focus on the positive, and I feel I’m one of the more vocal people in hip-hop,” he added. “Even when it’s not about music, people pay attention to me, because I have something to offer. I’ll continue to create quality music at a pace they haven’t seen.”
