Thoughts on the reality shows based on Hip Hop musicians?
Long Beach’s native godfather Snoop Dogg has long been a hip hop favorite on both coasts and everywhere in between. The rap superstar and multi-platinum artist is set to release his ninth solo LP, “Ego Trippin,” in March 2008 through Doggystyle/Geffen.
The premiere single, produced by Shawty Redd, titled “Sensual Seduction,” is an ode to the early eighties and will surprise and entertain fans both old and new. The catchy up-tempo showcases Snoop’s talents in a completely different capacity, unlike anything we have ever heard from the rap veteran. “Sensual Seduction” features Snoop playing both the singer and the rapper, crooning about fleshly desires through melodic verses. On it, Snoop’s vocals are reminiscent of the signature “talk box” machine, inspired by the funk sounds of Roger and Zapp.
Classic Hip Hop song and video, with my mind on money and my money on my mind.
Snoop talks about smoking weed, (17:40) the T.I. case, Snoop does a freestyle(32:00), (52:50)Answers if the West Coast fell off, (54:15)Says Soulja boy is bullshit, (55:55) Says when when Biggie was alive, Jay-Z was a regular ass rapper.
