Cassidy caused an uproar with some recent freestyle lines being looked at as disses. RealTalkNY recently talked to Cassidy about the lines(Link), and he has released a new freestyle addressing the issue. He gives props to Lil Wayne, T.I. & Young Jock, but there is no mention of 50 Cent.

Hurricane Chris, the young 18 year old rapper from Louisiana, has recently blown up due to the success of, “A Bay Bay.” He hopes to keep the momentum going by dropping a video for the , “A Bay Bay Remix,” featuring an diverse group of prominent MCs. RealTalkNY got a chance to talk to the young man about his recent success and future plans. His album 51/50 is set to come out this fall.

Lil Wayne: What do I think about that? I told you so. I’m gonna keep telling you. I be trying to remind y’all. Look at what you said. You just said what I told you a year ago, and today [it's] almost a unanimous decision. But don’t forget: [Tha Carter II] ain’t been out there in two years, now you’re crowning me. Scary. … Be scared. Please do. I’m scared for you.

I don’t know what they’re gonna do when the [next] album drops. Y’all probably gonna say, “Everybody else, stop rapping.” I told y’all a long time ago and y’all just started hearing what I’m saying. Y’all was always hearing me, but y’all wasn’t listening. Now y’all listening. I been saying I was the best [since] I was 14. I knew I was the best; I probably wasn’t at that time — but I knew. I’m 24. What were you doing at 24? Me, I’m 12 years in.

R&B star USHER’s wedding to TAMEKA FOSTER on Saturday (28Jul07) was scrapped because of a series of disagreements between the pair, according to reports.
The superstar was hoping to wed his pregnant fiance on Saturday afternoon (28Jul07) at record executive Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid’s home in Long Island, New York.
But the ceremony was called off just hours before the pair were due to get married, allegedly due to a string of differences in opinion between the couple and Usher’s mother’s disapproval of the impending nuptials.

Shout out to all the people at MTV that check this site out, but I’m not feeling the list at all. I don’t know how you define, “Hot.” Record sales? Street Buzz? Exposure? I don’t understand how The Game is hotter than 50 Cent & Kanye West, his album didn’t do as well as expected and he doesn’t have a song or video out getting major play(for a while).
